How it works
1. Add the names
One name per line — everyone who's playing. Each person gets their own private link off the shared page, so two Sams should get a surname initial to tell them apart.
2. Everyone submits privately
Share one link. Each person taps their own name, gets a private card, and writes their answer to the prompt — Share a fun fact about yourself by default, though you can change it to anything: a hidden talent, where you were born, your first concert. Nobody sees anyone else's answer. Not the group, not even you until you choose to reveal.
3. Guess, then reveal
Once the facts are in, gather the room. Your organiser page lists the facts in a shuffled order, numbered — read them out one at a time and let everyone guess who's who. When you're done, hit reveal and the shared link flips to the answer key: every fact, with the name attached.
Why not just an email thread?
Because the reply-all spirals, half the facts land in everyone's inbox before the game starts, and the two quiet people never send theirs. Fact Matcher keeps every submission secret until the reveal, so the guessing is actually a surprise — and there's no thread to mute. It's the low-effort version of two truths and a lie: one fact, submitted once, guessed together.

Onboarding. A batch of new starters learns names and faces faster when there's a fact to hang each one on. Team offsites and retros. A five-minute warm-up that isn't a trust fall. Is it actually free?
Yes. No account, no trial, no card. It's a small tool, not a platform.
Can people see each other's facts before the reveal?
No. Each fact lives on that person's private link and shows up nowhere else until the organiser reveals. That's the whole point — the guessing only works if the answers stay hidden.
Someone lost their private link — now what?
The organiser page has a reset next to every name. Reset it, and that person can claim their name again from the shared link and pick up where they left off. Their fact is kept.
How many people can play?
Three at a minimum — with fewer it's not much of a guessing game — and up to sixty. For a bigger crowd, run two rounds and reveal them separately.
What are some good icebreaker questions for work?
Beyond a plain fun fact: a hidden talent, the worst job you've had, a place on your bucket list, your karaoke song, or something people would never guess about you. Set the prompt to whichever suits the room — keep it guessable, and keep it kind.
